Lebanese singer Najwa Karam has released a teaser for her new music video for the song "Shams" (Sun),featuring Saudi poet Prince Badr bin Abdulmohsen Al Saud. The poem was composed by Prince Badr, with music by Dr. Talal. The video, directed by Dan Haddad, will be released soon. The announcement of the collaboration trended on social media, coinciding with news that Prince Badr is currently unwell. Najwa Karam commented on the announcement, stating that she has always enjoyed their work, and is honored to have participated in the project. Arab music icons, including Talal Maddah, Mohammed Abdo, Abadi Al-Johar, Abdul Majeed Abdullah, Abdullah Al-Ruwaished, Kadim Al-Sahir, Saber Al-Rubai, Rashed Al-Majed, Assala and Majid Al-Mohandes have previously sung the work of Prince Badr.
