Composer Medhat Mahrous and his wife Dr. Yasmin invited several prominent singers and songwriters, including Tamer Hosni, Rami Sabry, and Ramy Gamal, for an iftar (breaking of the fast) at their home. The gathering also included composer Mohamed Rahim, poet Tamer Hussein, arranger Toma, Ahmed Adel, Ramy Sabry's manager, and Tamer Yehia, Tamer Hosni's manager. After iftar, Mahrous sang a few songs with Rami Sabry, and praised Tamer Hosni for the success of his new Ramadan song "Gedda" which promotes a hospital. The event was filled with love and happiness, and attendees took pictures and videos to document the occasion.
