The show stars Mila Al-Zahrani and Abdullah Al-Turkmani as a couple facing various crises, and is based on a true event from Kuwait in 1990, when a family migrated to Saudi Arabia during the invasion and the father later discovered he had forgotten his daughter at the border. In the show's 16th episode, the two families meet each other to face their past and both blame themselves, with the real mother denying she was harsh because she suffered in silence and the caretaker recalling how she found the child and brought her up in her own home.
