"Generous Donation of SAR 50 Million from Crown Prince in Support of "Joud" Housing Regions Campaign"

In a generous gesture, Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has donated SAR 50 million to support the "Gawd Al Manatiq" (Improving the Regions) campaign launched by the Housing Development Platform of the Ministry of Housing. The campaign aims at providing better housing for citizens in various regions of the country and this donation will aid and expedite the construction of around 10,000 housing units. The campaign focuses on the regions of Northern Border, Al-Jouf, Tabuk, Hail, Qassim, Riyadh, Makkah, Eastern Province, Asir, Jazan, and Najran, where the need for better housing is greater. The initiative is part of the "Sakani" (Housing) program, which is designed to increase homeownership among Saudis. The program also offers various financing options to citizens who want to buy a house and has previously been supported by Prince Mohammed who allocated SAR 1.5 billion to the initiative in January 2019. The program aims to provide 500,000 housing units by 2030. The Crown Prince's donation comes as part of his continuous efforts to improve the quality of life in the Kingdom and support various initiatives aimed at boosting the country's social and economic development.
