The second episode of Tal Al-Rabee (Monastery Hill),starring Mohamed Riyad, aired on Rotana Drama Channel, following the intriguing events of the first episode which saw Riyad finding a marriage contract and an ancient map in his house. The episode revisits the past, where it is revealed that Prince Aref had an affair with his maid Khalda, who was subsequently killed by the servant of Aref's wife. Aref tries to cover up the murder by blaming Khalda for plotting a murder of his. Meanwhile, Aref's wife learns that Khalda was like a daughter to one of the Palace servants, who ends up saving Khalda’s possessions. Riyad's character, Nasheet, asks his friend Suleiman, played by Ahmed Fouad Selim, if they can locate the treasure's whereabouts, to which Suleiman suggests looking into the location of his former house, which has since been transformed into shops. Nasheet eventually discovers the treasurer is hidden in a herbal store owned by a former colleague of Suleiman, played by the late Tariq Abdul Aziz. Nasheet later discovers that he has been replaced by another person at his job, and a committee has been created to investigate his management. The committee accuses him of having affairs, but he defends himself and his girlfriend, played by Ayten Amer, causing him to be fired. Nasheet goes to seek an explanation from the Minister Khourshid in the North Coast. Khourshid tells Nasheet that someone had delivered the pictures of his affairs to the newspaper and that he managed to stop the publication. In the end, it is implied that Nasheet's wife was responsible for leaking the pictures. The episode presents an engaging plot with several exciting events, including a murder case and a treasure hunt. In addition, it introduces many characters and storylines, including the discovery of the love affair between Prince Aref and Khalda, the loyalty of the Palace servant, and the betrayal of Nasheet's wife.
