Egyptian singer Amr Diab performed at the final match of the Egyptian Cup between Zamalek and Ahly in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The event was sponsored by the Saudi General Entertainment Authority and attended by the Egyptian ambassador to the Kingdom. Diab performed his famous song "Ya Ana Ya La" in front of the audience, dressed in the colours of the Egyptian flag, Ahly and Zamalek. Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority, Turki Al-Sheikh, organised a dinner attended by the Egyptian Minister of Sports, Ashraf Sobhi, and several football stars. A bus with the logos of Ahly and Zamalek was prepared for the transfer of the two teams during their stay in Saudi Arabia. The camera equipment for the televised broadcast of the game was also installed. Amr Diab released a new album in December 2023, containing 12 songs including “Byouhsha,” “Salamak Wasali,” “Maerefsh Had Bel-Asm Dah,” “Zabt Modda,” “Wakhedeen Rahatak,” among others.
