Renowned musician Hani Farhat is introducing a new artistic experience to the Arab world, which he has been working on for the past period through the "Mai Farouk & DJs" concert held in Riyadh on March 7. The project includes presenting a new arrangement of old songs in a modern global style, which is the first of its kind and characterized by boldness because it should maintain the usual form of the songs that have been living in the audience's consciousness for decades, while introducing new musical instruments that contribute to attracting young audiences. The idea was initiated by the Counselor Turki Al Sheikh in cooperation with Maestro Hani Farhat and carried out over months, with the desire to make young people who are now following Western music aware of their artistic heritage and the songs that carry values and meanings presented by leading Arab singers. Mai Farouk, among the voices that have been associated with preserving the authentic Arab artistic heritage, has enthusiastically embraced the concept. The idea has also pleased the General Entertainment Authority, which has decided to support it until it is presented in a global form. Ticket booking for the concert opened on February 29.
