Egyptian actress Lekaa Sweidan has revealed that she has fully recovered from a recent health scare that required her to undergo emergency surgery and hospitalization. Sweidan made the announcement during an appearance on the Arabwood TV show on Rotana channels. The actress is gearing up to star in the upcoming Ramadan drama "Qalaa El-Hagar" (Fortress of Stone). The series, which takes place in Upper Egypt, focuses on women's rights and is inspired by true stories that took place in the region. It stars Mohamed Riyad, Rania Farid Shawki, and Mefeed Ashour, among others. The show is written by Ahmed Wafdi, a native of Qamoula city. Sweidan, who has over 1.6 million followers on Instagram, teased the series on her account by sharing a video from the set in which she wears traditional black rural attire.
