Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and his accompanying delegation arrived in Riyadh today for a visit to the Kingdom. Zelensky was received at the King Khalid International Airport by Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region; Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban, State Minister and member of the Cabinet; Faisal bin Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf, Secretary of the Riyadh Region; Saudi Ambassador to Ukraine Mohammed Al-Misfer Al-Jabr, Ukrainian Ambassador to the Kingdom Anatoliy Petrenko, and Royal Protocol Officer Fahd Al-Sahil. The purpose of the visit is to enhance bilateral relations between the two countries and explore opportunities for cooperation in various fields, including energy and agriculture. The two sides are also expected to discuss regional and international issues of mutual interest, particularly the crisis in Syria and the conflict in Ukraine. This visit comes as part of Zelensky's first foreign tour as President.
