Beyoncé tops Billboard's Country songs list as the first black woman.

Beyoncé has become the first black woman to top Billboard's country music chart with her song 'Texas Hold 'Em'. The song achieved 19.2m official streams, 4.8m downloads and has sold 39,000 copies in the US. In addition, Beyoncé is the first woman to top Billboard's country, hot R&B/hip-hop, and dance/electronic charts. The announcement comes after an Oklahoma country music radio station initially refused to play the track, leading to accusations of racism from fans, but later relented after pressure. Elsewhere, actor Bradley Cooper has revealed he approached Beyoncé to star in his film A Star is Born, and suggested the movie could have been made for less than $25m if she had accepted the role.
