Actor Sylvester Stallone has revealed that he underwent seven major surgeries after an on-set accident in 2010. The 77-year-old broke his neck while filming The Expendables and was knocked unconscious during a fight scene with wrestler Stone Cold Steve Austin. The actor, who played John Rambo, said he had a metal plate inserted into his neck and required spinal fusion surgery and shoulder surgery. Stallone made the revelation ahead of the second season of the reality TV show The Stallone Family, which airs on Wednesday, saying that he had not completely recovered from the injuries. His wife, model Jennifer Flavin, also revealed that she feared for her husband’s health every time he had to undergo an operation.
