On February 22, Saudi Arabia celebrated its National Foundation Day with concerts and other events throughout the country. One of the notable performers was Fuad Abdul Wahed, who gave a concert led by conductor Mohammed Khumais in Riyadh as part of the Riyadh Season festival. Other performances included Majed Al-Mohandes and Dalia Mubarak. The celebrations also included poetry readings and a symphony concert, which showcased the country's artistic heritage. This is the first National Foundation Day since King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud issued a new decree in January establishing the anniversary as an official holiday.
