Several Arab celebrities have taken to Twitter to congratulate Saudi Arabia and its people on the occasion of National Foundation Day. Kuwaiti singer Nawal Al Kuwaitia tweeted her congratulations and called on God to preserve the country and its people from harm. Majid Al Mohandes, also a singer, congratulated the Saudi Arabian monarch, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. The actress Elham Ali posted a short video celebrating the occasion, which she accompanied with a message expressing her love and pride for the country. Saudi Arabian singer Asaad Abu Bakr released a song to mark the occasion. Saudi Arabia marks its National Foundation Day on 22 February each year in memory of the day in 1727 when the first Saudi Arabian state was founded.
