The third Saudi Media Forum has begun with the participation of Saudi Minister of Media Salman Al-Dosary and a number of officials from Arab and international media outlets. Minister Al-Dosary spoke about the media system in the context of Saudi Vision 2030 and its role in shaping the national identity. During his speech, he announced that he and his colleagues have agreed to name 2024 "The Year of Media Transformation," stating that the media contributed SAR 14.5 billion to the local economy in 2023 and the goal is to reach SAR 16 billion in the current year. The forum aims to provide a platform for media professionals to discuss various issues related to the media industry while highlighting its importance and impact on societies.
