Gulf stars gather to bid farewell to Abdul Kareem Abdul Qader's wounded voice.

Legendary Gulf singer Abdul Kareem Abdul Qader will be honored in a farewell tribute concert featuring a lineup of Gulf stars on February 23 at the Mohammed Abdu Arena as part of the Riyadh Season events. Organized by Rotana Music, the concert will feature performances by Abdullah Al-Ruwaished, Majid Al-Mohandes, Ahlam, Nabil Shuail, Matar Al-Matar, Nawal Al-Kuwaitia, Aseel Abu Bakr, and Musa'ad Al-Bloushi. Abdul Kareem passed away on May 12, 2022, at the age of 81 after a long career in the music industry, where he was known as "the wounded voice". In late 2022, he went through a health crisis that required his hospitalization in the UAE, but he recovered and reassured his fans in a video message. Some of Abdul Kareem's most famous songs include "Takoun Zalem", "Sar Il-Lail, Ya Qamarni", and "Ajir Al-Saut", and his most famous albums include "Zawwar", "Ghareeb", "Ba'akhtasar", "Aganiyat Al-Wadaaa", "Allah Ma'ay", "Mustahil", "Al-Sout Al-Jareeh", "Takhurti", "Asma' Sada' Sawtak", "Saa'at Sa'eedah", and "A'taraf Lak".
