The General Entertainment Authority of Saudi Arabia has announced a concert by singer Sherine Abdel Wahab in Egypt, as part of the “Saudi Egyptian Nights” series. The event will take place at the Egyptian Opera House and is scheduled for Sunday 18 February. Previously, the event had been advertised as taking place on Saturday. The line-up also includes Mohamed Mounir and Majid Al-Muhandis. In addition, the chairman of the General Entertainment Authority, Turki Al-Shaikh, has announced that Mona Zaki will soon begin work on a new film about the life of iconic singer Umm Kulthum, scripted by Ahmad Murad and directed by Marwan Hamid. Egyptian film Journey of 404, starring Mona Zaki, was the highest grossing film last week in Saudi Arabian cinemas.
