Red Sea International Film Festival in Historic Jeddah Announces Dates for 2024 Edition

The Red Sea International Film Festival has announced the dates of its 4th edition, scheduled for December 5-14, 2024, to be held in the festival's new and vibrant location in the historic city of Jeddah, one of the areas listed in UNESCO's World Heritage List. The festival's third edition recently hosted 125 films from 75 different countries, with 17 feature films and 25 short films competing for the Yasir Awards. The festival has previously hosted sessions for cinematic industry discussion and dialogue attended by luminaries from the world of cinema, including nominees for the Oscars, Chris Hemsworth, Guy Ritchie, Luca Guadagnino, Oliver Stone, Jason Statham, and others. Building on the success of its third edition, the Red Sea International Film Festival continues its initiatives to support and develop the cinema industry throughout the year, by providing a platform for emerging talent from Saudi Arabia, the Arab world, Africa, and Asia, in addition to the intensive preparation for its upcoming fourth edition in December 2024.
