Egyptian actress Emirati Samir Ghanem expressed her happiness over being honored at the 13th edition of the Luxor African Cinema Festival, and the warm welcome she received from the people of Luxor. She published photos of herself from the opening ceremony of the festival on her Instagram account and thanked the people of Luxor for their kindness. The festival also honored other stars from Egypt and Africa, such as Hassan El-Raddad, producer Gaby Khoury, and the late Egyptian actor Tarek Abdel Aziz. Ghanem recently appeared as a guest of honor in the film "Blomondo" alongside Hassan El-Raddad, and participated in the theater production "Super Miro". Her performance in these works is seen as a warm-up for her return to the artistic scene with renewed energy after the difficult circumstances she faced due to the death of her parents and the birth of her son Fadi.
