Within a few hours, Egyptian singer Asala made it to the top of the most listened to list on YouTube through three songs that are part of the second part of her new album, which was released on Monday. One of the songs, "Lahet Nafsi" ("I Followed Myself"),surpassed 200,000 views on the website in less than a day. The lyrics say, "I followed myself, I walked and left you before you finished with me, and I started to smell myself and my condition only improved a little. I used to be scared to death, but thank God now I am calm." The second song, "Eradat Al-Gheyab" ("Absenteeism Symptoms"),reached almost 200,000 views soon after its launch, while the third one, "Ashk Al-Rooh" ("Soul Love"),got nearly 100,000 views. Asala recently won the Favorite Music Artist award at Joy Awards ceremony in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
