Egyptian actress and producer Basma was recently honored at the Arab Excellence and Creativity Forum and spoke with the Arab Wood program about the experience. She praised Rotana for its support of the film "Olad Harim Karim," stating that without Rotana's funding, the film may not have been successful. Basma also thanked the organizers of the Arab forum for the award and recognition, but emphasized that true joy and wholeness cannot be achieved as long as conflict and inhumanity continue to exist in the world. "Olad Harim Karim," which stars Mustafa Qamar, Dalia El Behery, Basma, and other young actors, was written by Zeinab Aziz and directed by Ali Idris. It was jointly produced by iproductions and Rotana for distribution.
