Iconic Egyptian actress Elham Shahin has announced that she will be returning to the stage with a new production presented at the Riyadh Season event. Shahin also revealed that she had been focusing on losing weight to prepare for the show. Her weight loss was actually due to advice from her doctor, as she was experiencing knee problems that became more pronounced when she wore high heels. She has recently taken on the lead role in the film "All About Love," alongside a large cast of well-known actors including Ahmed Fathy and Horeya Farghaly. The movie is based on a script by Sayed Fouad and is directed by Khaled El-Hagar with Sherif Mandhour producing. The shooting began in mid-February with screenings planned at cinemas across Egypt in the near future. In addition to her film work, Shahin recently completed her involvement in the television series "Al Ferda," a 10-episode production based on the book "55 Love Problems" by Dr. Moustafa Mahmoud, written and directed by Amr Mahmoud Yassin and his team. "Al Ferda" follows the story of Dr. Ahmed Farid, played by Ahmed Fahmi, who gives up his profession to pursue his dream of studying cooking in Italy. While abroad, he opens his own restaurant, but decides to return to Egypt after learning that his aunt Susu, who raised him and his siblings after their father's death, is suffering from Alzheimer's and is being neglected by her own children.
