Mohamed Hamaki performs in Jeddah's season of Saudi Arabia.

Egyptian singer Mohamed Hamaki performed a varied selection of his new and old songs at a concert in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The event was sponsored by the General Entertainment Authority, led by Chairman Turki Al-Sheikh. Hamaki also announced new dates for his North American tour, which begins in Toronto on 23 February and ends in Detroit on 3 March. Meanwhile, the video for his single “Habbeit El Maktaba” has been trending on social media sites. The promo is reportedly the first Arabic-language song to be promoted using an AI-assisted concept. The track was written by Tamer Hussein, arranged by Toma and features guitar playing by Mostafa Aslan and drumming by Said Al-Artist. The clip was directed by Youssef Hammad, with creative contributions from Hammad, Mohamed Al-Sabagh and Mohamed Al-Sha’er. Hamaki previously released a single titled “Lamon Ne’anaa” which also achieved widespread success, particularly on social media sites.
