Saudi Arabia's General Authority for Entertainment chairman, Turki Al-Sheikh, fulfilled the wish of a disabled fan to accompany Cristiano Ronaldo onto the pitch of the King Fahd Stadium before the Al Nassr vs Inter Miami game. After the fan shared a video online requesting the opportunity to join the team during their entrance, Al-Sheikh promised to attend the last dance match personally and invited the fan to join him and Ronaldo. The match is part of the Riyadh Season Cup and involves Saudi teams Al Nassr and Al Hilal, as well as Inter Miami. The tournament marks the first time that female referees will oversee matches in the country, according to Al-Sheikh. A drone will be used for the first time in a sports event in the region, while a prize will be awarded to the winner and live feed from the video assistant referee's room will also be broadcast for the first time.
