Actress Jehan al-Shemshergi talks about her role in the newly released film "Rihlat 404" during an interview with Arab Wood. She plays the character Rania, a long-time friend of Ghada (played by Mona Zaki),who they reconnect with during a trip. The film stars Mona Zaki, Mohamed Farag, Mohamed Mamdouh, Shirin Reda, Khaled El-Sawy, Shadi Alfons, Rana Rais, Arefa Abdel Rasoul, Sama Ibrahim and Nora Shalabi. It is written by Mohamed Raja and directed by Hani Khalifa. The story follows Ghada as she faces an emergency problem that required a large sum of money just days before her pilgrimage to Mecca. She has to reconnect with people from her past, with whom she had cut ties, to solve the problem. The film took over three years to produce. Al-Shemshergi previously appeared in two Ramadan TV series in 2021: "Muzakirat Zawj" with Tarek Lotfy and Aisha Ben Ahmed and "Kamil Al-Adad" with Dina El Sherbiny and Sherif Salama.
