Najlaa Badr's "Eid Night" portrays women's struggles in a male-dominated society.

Egyptian actress Naglaa Badr discussed her latest film "Laylat Al-Eid" in an interview with Arab Wood. The film addresses issues faced by women in some societies and cultures, who cannot express themselves or do not have the right to express themselves. Badr also highlighted that the film shows that society is still male-dominated and not willing to accept that fact. The film stars Yousra, Riham Abdel Ghafour, and Abeer Sabry, among others, and follows a group of women who live on an island and face various problems and crises due to a lack of understanding and respect for their rights by some men. The issues addressed in the film include violence against women, child marriage, female genital mutilation, and other social issues. The film was written by Ahmed Abdullah and directed by Sameh Abdel Aziz.
