Egyptian actress Mona Zaki revealed the reason behind her choice of the film "Rahla 404" during an interview with Arab Wood program that airs on Rotana Channel. She said she was attracted by the beautifully written script by Professor Mohamed Raga and also wanted to work with the director Hani Khalifa, whom she admires. Zaki stars alongside Sherine Reda, Taisir, Mohamed Farag, and others in the film, which premiered on September 16 in 6th October City. Notable celebrities, including Ahmed Helmy, attended the premiere to support their colleagues. The film was produced by Mohamed Hafezi and Shehinaz Al Akkad, with a screenplay by Medhat El-Adl and Ahmed Abdelhamid. The movie’s producers released individual posters for each of the actors and guest stars holding masks, creating intrigue surrounding the characters. The film follows the story of Ghada, played by Zaki, who prepares for a pilgrimage to Mecca. But just days before her trip, she gets caught up in an emergency problem that forces her to gather a large sum of money. She then reluctantly reaches out to people from her past that she had severed ties with. Other stars in the film include Mohamed Farag, Mohamed Mamdouh, Sherine Reda, Khaled El Sawy, and Mohamed Alaa. The cast also features Hassan El Adl, Sama Ibrahim, Shady Alfonso, Rana Raies, Gehan El Shemashergy, and Arefa Abdel Rasoul. The film was directed by prominent filmmaker Khalifa, who has previously worked with Zaki. The screenplay is by Mohamed Raga.
