Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon and one of the world's richest men, celebrated his 56th birthday on 12 January. Bezos and his girlfriend, Lauren Sanchez, hosted a lavish party themed "Sky Glamour" at their $165 million Beverly Hills mansion. Beyoncé, Jay Z, and Oprah were among the high-profile guests who attended the party which also featured a diverse range of food items including caviar. The dress code was out of this world as party guests donned space-inspired outfits in reference to Blue Origin, the aerospace company owned by Bezos. Sanchez went to great lengths to recreate Bezos' first office at Amazon which featured a modest chair and was a far cry from the opulent offices of Blue Origin. The party was kept mostly private but Paris Hilton, Ivanka Trump, and Heidi Klum shared snapshots of the festivities on Instagram. Sanchez, who wore a stunning $5,000 red dress, received praise from fellow party guests for her exemplary hosting skills.
