Egyptian actor Ahmed El-Awadi has been hospitalised after inhaling a large amount of carbon monoxide while filming an action scene. The incident led to a respiratory crisis that required immediate hospitalisation. El-Awadi is currently starring in the film "Al Iskandarani," which has been very successful since its release. The film also features a cast of major Egyptian actors such as Zain, Hussein Fahmy, Bayoumi Fouad, Mahmoud Hafez, Salah Abdullah, Intisar, and Essam al-Sakha. The film was directed by Khaled Youssef and written by the late writer Osama Anwar Okasha.
