At the annual Joy Awards ceremony for 2024, Saudi musician Abdulmajeed Abdullah mesmerized the audience with his song "Ya Abn Alawadem". Other winners at the Joy Awards ceremony included Nelly Karim for favorite actress in a film, Kareem Abdulaziz for favorite actor in a film, Rahaf Mohammad for favorite actress in a TV drama, Saad Azeez for favorite actor in a TV drama, and Anas Jabber for best athlete. Egyptian actress Esraa Younis, Syrian actress Mona Wassef, and American actor and director Kevin Costner received lifetime achievement awards. Lebanese designer Elie Saab won the Diamond Entertainment Makers award, while Eva Longoria was named Person of the Year for her support of social issues alongside her acting and directing career.
