The event was attended by many Arab and international celebrities. Sherine is also preparing to perform at a new concert in Beirut, Lebanon on 17 February, after it was postponed due to Gaza events. The Joy Awards ceremony celebrated the entertainment industry in Saudi Arabia, with representatives from cinema, drama, and music attending the event, which was sponsored by the General Authority for Entertainment under the presidency of His Excellency Counselor Turki Al Sheikh.
