Egyptian singer Mohamed Mounir's sister, Samiha Abu Yazeed, passed away and her funeral was held at Al-Husari Mosque in Cairo on December 25. Mounir and other members of the family attended the funeral. The news of Samiha's death was announced by writer Mahmoud Musa on social media. Mounir recently postponed his New Year's Eve concert in Cairo due to security reasons.
