Fourth edition of JOY AWARDS celebrates cinema, drama, music, sports and Arab influencers in Riyadh.

The General Entertainment Authority (GEA) in Saudi Arabia, in collaboration with MBC Group, is set to host the fourth edition of the Joy Awards festival in the capital of Riyadh. The event will honor individuals and productions from the worlds of cinema, drama, music, sports, and Arab influencers in a grand ceremony on Saturday, January 20 as part of the Riyadh Season. The awards will be broadcast live on MBC1, MBC Egypt, MBC Iraq, MBC5 and Shahid, in addition to showing stars on the red carpet, entertainment, live music performances, and more. The ceremony will feature a large cast of stars and celebrities from the worlds of arts, sports, media, entertainment, and social media. The audience will get to vote for their favorite artists across various categories for cinema, music, drama, influencers, and sports, with five main categories under each specialization. For cinema, the nominees include Al-Khalat (The Blender),Al-Hamor (The Donkey),Beit Al-Rubi (House of Ruby),and Satar (Line Up); the nominees for Best Actress include Amina Khalil (Wash Fi Wash),Ilham Ali (Chello),Nelly Karim (Voy! Voy! Voy!),and Suad Abdullah (Chello); and the nominees for Best Actor are Ibrahim Al-Hajjaj (Satar),Abdulaziz Al-Shamr (Head to Head),Ziad Al-Omari (Abd),and Karim Abdel Aziz (Beit Al-Rubi). The awards ceremony will also honor 15 artists and productions that have influenced the Arab world and the world over the past year, including Best Female Artist, Best Male Artist and Best Newcomer.
