The US Television Academy announced the winners of the Emmy Awards for television shows and series aired between 2022 and 2023. The limited series Beef won for best limited series and both Stephen Yuen and Ali Wong became the first Asian Americans to win in their respective categories. The awards acknowledged the work of several Black women, including Brunson, Ayodele Casel, and Nisi Nash-Bets, who won Best Supporting Actress in a Limited Series for her role in Dahmer - Monster.
