Elie Saab's Partnership with Riyadh Season: All the Details

The President of the General Entertainment Authority in Saudi Arabia, Turki Al-Sheikh, has announced details of a partnership deal between global fashion designer Elie Saab and the Riyadh season to produce a fashion line inspired by the event. Al-Sheikh shared on his personal account on the X platform, the behind-the-scenes of the partnership between the Riyadh season and Elie Saab, which read, "The signing of the partnership between the Riyadh season and the global designer Elie Saab, to work on a collection inspired by the spirit of the Riyadh season, in coordination with the Ministry of Culture and the Fashion Authority. Thank you to His Highness the Minister of Culture Prince Badr bin Farhan and His Excellency Deputy Hamed Fayez." Al-Sheikh considered working with Elie Saab to be a gain for the Riyadh season, especially since the designer’s beginnings were in the Saudi capital. Elie Saab expressed his pride in returning to work in Riyadh after four decades of starting his early career there, adding, "I am very proud to have started my life in Riyadh in the early 80s, and now after 40 years, I am returning to work with good people.” The Riyadh season also issued a statement about the partnership with Elie Saab, announcing the details of the collaboration to produce the 2025 autumn collection. The statement added that the partnership aims to enrich entertainment options by linking Riyadh season with some of the most luxurious global names in fashion and that the collection will offer visitors a unique experience in the world of fashion and clothing. The statement also said that Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Culture and Fashion Authority coordinated the collaboration. A special Elie Saab store will be opened in Riyadh, and preparations are being made for this important occasion in the city, which supports creativity and diversity of culture in the region. This initiative is part of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, which aims to enable the entertainment sector to contribute significantly to the national economy by supporting the private sector, attracting foreign investment, and creating thousands of job opportunities.
