Rotana Studios has released a song titled "Ana Wa Ibni" (Me and My Son),sung by popular folk singer Abdul Basit Hamouda, which is one of the songs in the film "Al-Iskandarani" (The Alexandrian). The movie, directed by Khaled Youssef and produced by Egypt Arab Cinema Company in collaboration with Rotana Studios, tells the story of a young man living in Alexandria who faces a number of challenges and struggles in his daily life, while dealing with important social and political issues in Egypt. The release of the song coincides with the success of the movie in cinemas, which stars a distinguished team of actors including Ahmed El-Awadi, Zina, Esam El-Sakka, Bayoumi Fouad, Hussein Fahmi, Salah Abdullah, Mahmoud Hafez, Mohamed Radwan, and Rehab Al-Jamal. Written by poet Jamal Bakheet, composed by Sherif Hamdan and arranged by Taha El-Hakim, the song expresses the deep bond between father and son.
