Egyptian TV host Amr Adib has updated his audience about the health condition of his brother, Emad el-Din Adib, after he was hospitalized in Dubai. The former underwent a second stent operation on 24 October, after having an initial stent implanted three days prior. The presenter praised the surgeon who carried out the procedure and added that his brother is "in good health and recovering well". Adib also thanked Dubai ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum for his "great humanitarian gesture", as the latter visited Emad el-Din Adib to inquire about his health. Amr Adib had earlier shared that his brother had experienced a serious health scare whilst attending a conference in Dubai.
