George Wassouf honors late son Wadih in memorial tribute.

Lebanese singer Georges Wassouf remembered his late son Wadih on the first anniversary of his death by posting a video on his Instagram account featuring childhood photos of his son accompanied by the song “Nassam 3alayna el Hawa” (A Breeze Has Passed Us By). Wassouf’s fans on social media expressed their sadness at the loss of his son and wished for him to find strength and solace. Wadih Wassouf passed away last year, two weeks after undergoing gastric bypass surgery that led to complications. Forty days after his son’s passing, Georges Wassouf released the song “Nassam 3alayna el Hawa”, a gesture for Wadih’s soul. The song resonated with a large audience. It was written by Khaled Taj Al-Din, composed by Mohamed Yahya, and directed by the Lebanese director Tony Kahwaji.
