Producer Ahmed El Sobky announced that renowned actress Samiha Ayoub will be starring in the upcoming Eid al-Fitr film "Laylat al-Eid," set to release at the end of June. The film explores issues facing women in Egyptian society, tackling the issue of societal and marital oppression against women. The film also features stars Yousra, Abeer Sabry, Hanadi Mehanna, and more. This marks Ayoub's first film in eight years, her last being the 2015 film "El Layela El Kabeera."
