Ahmed el-Sobky has revealed the official poster of the latest film starring Egyptian actress Yousra, called Laylat al-Eid, which is slated for release in January. The film, which tackles the various types of violence and oppression faced by women in society, follows several connected stories over one day, from the end of Ramadan to the first day of Eid. Starring alongside Yousra are a cast of well-known actors, including Abeer Sabry, Said Ragab, Reham Abdel Ghafour, Mayan el-Sayed, Mahmoud Hafez, Yousra el-Louzy, and Samiha Ayoub. The film is directed by Samah Abdel Aziz and written by Ahmed Abdullah, with production by Ahmed el-Sobky and general supervision by Khaled el-Sobky and Mohammed Ahmed el-Sobky. Yousra headlines the film as a woman who is subjected to domestic violence and forced to work as a maid in various households. Through her experiences, the stories of the characters in the film are intertwined.
