Egyptian actress Leila Eloui is set to make her return to theater after 27 years with her new play "The Red Box," which will be presented at the Riyadh season. The play revolves around a female psychiatrist who faces a challenge in her professional career when she is asked to monitor the health of her former lover's daughter. The play is a comedy and will be presented at the Mohammed Ali theater in the Boulevard city. Additionally, Eloui will star in the upcoming film "Maksoum," which will be released on January 17, and will portray a retired singer who had a music band in the 1990s with Sherine Reda and Samaa Ibrahim. The film is a social-comedy musical, directed by Kauther Younes and also starring Reda and Ibrahim. Eloui recently participated in the sixth edition of the Gouna Film Festival with her film "El Shenab," which is a light family drama about the sudden death of a member of the Shenab family that leads to family reunions and humorous situations.
