Egyptian actor Mohamed Emam expressed his happiness in collaborating with Saudi Arabia's General Entertainment Authority chairman, Turki Al-Sheikh. Al-Sheikh had announced his sponsorship of two films, including Emam's latest movie "Shams el-Zanati." Emam shared a photo of their meeting on his Instagram page and expressed his excitement for the "renaissance of the Egyptian and Arab film industry to global levels." The film "Shams el-Zanati" is a comedy revolving around conflicts arising from disputes over lineage and family issues. Emam plays a doctor who enters into many conflicts because of these problems. His character falls in love with a life coach, played by Yasmine Sabry, and their relationship evolves into a marriage. However, Emam finds out about the criminal history of Sabry's father, played by Majid Al-Kadwani, which leads to several crises that follow. The film also stars Mohamed Adel Emam, Wafa Amer, Hala Fakher, and Mohamed Lotfy, and is written by Ayman Wattar and directed by Rami Emam.
