Moroccan singer Asmaa Lamnawar is currently rehearsing for her performance at the upcoming "Arab Stars" New Year's Eve concert in Saudi Arabia's "Riyadh Season". The event will feature performances by Arab female singers including Assala, Ahlam, Angham, Elissa, Nancy Ajram, and Lamnawar with the leadership of the maestro, Hani Farhat. Saudi Arabia's entertainment chief, Turki Al Sheikh, has organized several concerts recently, including "Baleegh Hamdi Classics" and "Night of Tears 2". Al Sheikh has been arranging musical events to honor and appreciate the successful careers of top musicians in Egypt and the Arab world, such as the Maestro Mohamed Almoji and musician Hani Shennouda. The Riyadh Season has hosted a range of music events, including the "Middle Beast Sound Storm" festival, featuring performances by Amr Diab, Elissa, Ruby, Ahmed Saad, Hamid Al Sha'ari, Rami Sabri, Mahmoud Al Esseily, and Hakim. The organizers postponed the musical concert for the Saudi singers Mooudi Al Shamrani, Ibrahim Al Hakami, and Ibrahim Al Sultan, in honour of the Kuwaiti Emir's death, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
