Elissa rehearses for her December 31 concert with Arab superstars.

Lebanese artist Elissa started rehearsals for the "Arab Stars" concert, which will take place in Saudi Arabia as part of the Riyadh Season festivities on December 31. Several Arab singers, including Assala, Ahlam, Angham, Elissa, Nancy Ajram, and Asma Lmnawar, will perform at the event under the direction of Maestro Hani Farhat. The concert is organized by Turki Al-Sheikh, Chairman of the Saudi Entertainment Authority, who has recently sponsored several music events honoring prominent Arab musicians. Al-Sheikh has also ventured into the film industry as a producer with the upcoming horror-thriller "The Cello," based on his own novel, set for release in 2021. The Riyadh Season has seen a series of concerts featuring Arab singers, such as Amr Diab, Elissa, Ruby, Ahmed Saad, Hamid Al-Shairi, Ramy Sabry, Mahmoud El-Esseily, and Hakim. A music concert featuring Saudi singers Mowaten Al-Shamrani, Ibrahim Al-Hakmi, and Ibrahim Al-Sultan was postponed as a mark of respect following the death of the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
