Egyptian actor Ahmed Eid has returned to the stage after a 15-year absence with the play "Bride of an Electronic Panel" as part of the Riyadh season. The play centres around a man who falls in love with a machine after agreeing to marry an electronic woman for a month in return for a large sum of money. Speaking on "Arab Wood", Eid said he was "very worried and scared" about returning to the theatre as standing on stage required "very skilled and experienced people". However, the actor said he enjoyed the experience and claimed that the Saudi audience was "very nice and made us feel like we were sitting together". "Bride of an Electronic Panel" is one of the latest plays to feature during the Riyadh Season, Saudi Arabia's biggest entertainment event in history.
