Director Todd Phillips released two new behind-the-scenes photos from the upcoming film "Joker 2" on his Instagram account featuring Joaquin Phoenix as the Joker and Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn. The film is titled "Joker: Folie à Deux," with central characters speculated to include a former psychiatrist turned criminal, played by Gaga. Phillips has revealed that the film will release on October 4, 2024, and unlike the first film, it will include a musical element. The original movie, released in 2019, was a critical and commercial success and received 11 Oscar nominations, including Best Picture and Best Actor for Phoenix.
