Singer Majid al-Muhandis' concert titled "The Night of the Prince and the Giants" has been postponed due to the death of Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah, the Emir of Kuwait. A statement released by Rotana Group, the event organizer, stated that a new date for the concert will be announced in the future. The concert was part of a series of major events organized by Rotana throughout the year, showcasing some of his famous songs, performing various roles, dancing and presenting shows. The Royal Court also issued a statement expressing deepest condolences and sympathy for the death of Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah, Amir of Kuwait and extended their condolences and sympathies to both the people of Kuwait and the Arab and Islamic nations. The statement added that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its people share the sorrow of the Kuwaiti people, and pray to Allah Almighty to grant the family of the late Emir and the Kuwaiti people patience and solace in this tragic loss and to maintain peace, stability, prosperity and growth in Kuwait.
