Egyptian actress Sherihan expressed condolences for the passing of director Ahmed Badry who died at the age of 69 after suffering the effects of a leg amputation. Badry had been ill for several days, before having his left leg amputated. He later fell into a coma due to blood poisoning, difficulty breathing, and unstable blood sugar. Badry has been known for his work on popular television shows such as Fatma, Yacoubian Building, and Hend Sabri's TV program on MBC. His funeral prayers were held on June 22, 2021 at Al Husari Mosque in 6th of October City.
