Egyptian singer Sherine Abdel-Wahab confirmed her divorce from singer Hossam Habib on the MBC Masr TV programme, Al-Hikaya. Abdel-Wahab told the show that the divorce was carried out with civility and with the utmost respect for one another. She confirmed that she and Habib are both in good mental health and that they decided to go forward with their separation after weathering many storms. Earlier this month, TV presenter Amr Adib said Abdel-Wahab had told him of the split. Adib later revealed on another programme that Abdel-Wahab had been a guest on the Big Time podcast and said she hoped the programme would "be a new beginning for them".
