Lebanese singer Elissa arrived in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, ahead of a major concert on 14 December as part of the Saudi "Winter at Tantora" festival. Elissa had previously performed at a concert in Riyadh on 18 November as part of the Riyadh Season festival. The concerts come as part of a partnership between the Saudi Entertainment Authority and Rotana, a media company in the region. Elissa met with Rotana chief executive Salem al Hindi and the general manager of Rotana's radio stations, Hamad Nasser, during her visit to Riyadh. She also thanked Saudi Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal for his support. Elissa has called for better treatment of women in the music industry, particularly when it comes to harassment claims.
