Actor Amr Youssef shared a photo from inside the editing room of his upcoming film "Shako" on his Instagram page. He was checking the final touches on the film's editing with director Karim El-Sabki, renowned editor Amr Akif, and writer Wisam Sabri. The film is inspired by the novel "Prince of Thieves" by Chuck Hogan and follows a group of friends engaging in criminal activities with the help of other characters in the film. The cast includes Youssef, Mohamed Mamdouh, Yusra, Dina El-Sherbiny, Amina Khalil, and Abbas Abu Al-Hasan, among others. The film is directed by El-Sabki and written by Sabri. Youssef is also set to star in a new TV series called "Shoghl Fanadeq" alongside actress Ruby, set to air during Ramadan 2024. The series is written by Mohamed Sami and Mahab Tarek, directed by Sami, and produced by Media Hub Saadi and Jawhar. Filming is planned to begin next month at the latest.
